Paço de Palmeira, located at the confluence of the Cávado and Man rivers, near Braga, a palace that was built by Don José de Bragança, Archbishop of Braga, who was also the prince of the royal house.
In addition to the past, another particularity of this palace is its fertile and propitious soil for cultivating the vineyard, particularly the Loureiro where 28 hectares live.
The result of serious work, with innovation in all stages of the production process, from the vineyard itself, grape selection, vinification methods to commercialization, are two varietals of Loureiro, Royal Palmeira and the Eminence. The two are made by the Sur Lie method, in which the wine stages in contact with the fine lees, helping in its complexity and aging.
