In 1988, an American-Danish couple set off on a sailboat to find a place to raise a family and plant a vineyard. They arrived in the Alentejo, and in a land of white varieties they planted red varieties. And so begins the history of Cortes de Cima wines

- The grapes were rigorously selected. They were fermented unleashed, at controlled temperatures, and regular, with an extended period of maceration of the films to improve fruit aroma and achieve a good balance and structure of tannins.
- Aged for 8 months in French (90%) and American (10%) oak barrels.

- Aromas of fruits of dark berry, cherry and plum, with complex notes of earth and spices. Palate rich and firm, full of ripe fruit.
