Quinta da Alorna was born in 1723. Later, after leading the conquest of the fortress of Alorna in India, D. Pedro de Almeida, I Marquês de Alorna, gave the property the name it has today . Quinta da Alorna is distinguished not only by the quality of the wines it produces, but also by its natural spaces, on the banks of the Tagus River and with the entrance marked by a magnificent tree, rare in the world.
