<p></p> <p>The vines that make Textura da Estrela Red Wine have around 25 to 60 years old, in granite soils and with a production that never exceeds 4,5 tons per hectare. Vila Nova de Tazem (Serra da Estrela sub region) is a terroir where the labels “Textura da Estrela” comes from. This is a low intervention red wine in which we do short pump-overs in the first days of fermentation and then only cap management. Results in a very typical Dão reflecting their genuine terroir and sense of place</p>

<p>Taboadella Jaen presents a deep, brilliant ruby color. On the nose, it is expressive and captivating, with prominent aromas of fresh red fruits (cherry, red plum) and dark fruits, accompanied by a distinctive note of pepper. Floral hints of lavender and violets, along with nuances of allspice, can also emerge. On the palate, it's a succulent wine with velvety, fine tannins and an elegant, lively acidity that provides freshness. It possesses a tense yet delicate body, good structure, and a long, flavorful finish, making it a versatile pairing for grilled red meats, game dishes, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine, and aged cheeses.</p>

<p>Casa da Passarella O Fugitivo Baga shows a open colour. On the nose, it typically offers aromas of red fruits, often accompanied by vegetal notes and sometimes hints of licorice or cherry. On the palate, Baga wines are generally characterized by their high acidity and firm, well-structured tannins, leading to a long, persistent finish. Some Baga wines, especially those from Dão, can also show notes of pine or earthiness. Given its structure and acidity, "O Fugitivo Baga" is an excellent wine for food pairing. It harmonizes beautifully with rich, fatty dishes, such as roasted pork loin, roast suckling pig, or game meats. It's also a great match for cured meats, sausages, and aged cheeses, as the wine's acidity and tannins can cut through the richness of these foods.</p>
