Taboadella Caementa 2023 Rosé Wine

Taboadella Caementa is a unique wine from the Dão region of Portugal, produced by the Taboadella winery. This line is special for its revival of traditional cement (Caementa) tanks for fermentation and aging, aiming for transparency, elegance, minerality, and a pure expression of the Dão's terroir. While the focus is currently on a rosé version, this winemaking approach enhances aromatic clarity and physical persistence.

Taboadella Caementa Rosé Wine reveals as sophisticated, elegant, fresh, and full of energy, typically displaying a bright, clear color. Its nose offers pronounced and fresh aromas, likely dominated by red fruits from the Tinta Roriz grape, alongside a distinct mineral character. On the palate, it's known for its vibrant acidity and textured body, providing a fresh and delightful experience. This elegant rosé is versatile for food pairing, excelling with aperitifs, light summer dishes, seafood, salads, white meats, Mediterranean cuisine, and soft cheeses.
