<p>Vinha da Fidalga Malvasia Preta Red Wine by Pedra Cancela is a unique red wine produced in the Dão region, part of a project aimed at enhancing less common varieties and limited editions. Historically known in Dão as Negro Mouro, Malvasia Preta is distinguished by its freshness, moderate alcohol content (generally ranging from 11.5% to 11.8%), and soft tannins. This red wine showcases great culinary versatility, making it a perfect pairing for a variety of dishes.<br /><br />It pairs well with traditional roasts, particularly oven-baked goat or lamb. Structured Fish: Thanks to its acidity and delicate tannins, it adapts well to robust fish dishes of Portuguese cuisine, such as Lagareiro octopus or oven-roasted cod with olive oil. Cheeses: It harmonizes with soft and buttery cheeses (like Serra da Estrela cheese), helping to balance the creaminess without overpowering the cheese's flavor.</p>

<p></p> <p>Single vineyard Dão red wine from a field blend block at 600 meters altitude, 55-year-old vines planted in granite soils. The main grape varieties are Jaen, Baga, Alfrocheiro, Tinto-Cão and Tinta Pinheira. Indigenous yeasts and fermentation in a vat with 30-day cuvaison make this wine a distinct wine, with delicate aromas, nice minerality and very fine tannins. It is elegant, intense and pure.</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta da Alameda Torreão Red Wine is made from Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacional grape varieties, this red reflects the Dão region. The region's expressiveness can be found in the aromas of forest, wet earth transmitted by Alfrocheiro and red fruit by the Touriga Nacional. Elegance and character come through in the mouth, not too extracted and very well balanced.</p> <p> The Alfrocheiro variety's characteristic light colour gives it  a floral nose, reminiscent of the woods and the humidity of  autumn, while the Touriga intensifies the red fruit and  bergamot, giving it a pleasant intense aroma. The wood on  the nose is subtle, conveying soft notes of dried fruit. The  palate is elegant with well-present but delicate tannins softened by the barrel, the acidity confers freshness and elegance, remaining intense in the mouth and showing great  longevity.</p>
