<p></p><p>Quinta de Napoles is an elegant and structured wine. This wine represents the quintessence of our old vines at Quinta de Nápoles. Its pale red hue of medium intensity is characteristic of the wines from the 2018 vintage. The nose is at the same time delicate and complex. A base of currants and red berries gives way to floral aromas of violet, hints of Earl Grey tea, spice and a minty note which harmonises in a light and refreshing way with the wine’s wooded nuances. <p></p><p>Quinta da Boavista's vineyards are part of the stunning geometric scenery of levels, terraces and terraces built by man on the schist slopes of the River Douro. The Alicante Bouschet is planted on terraces orientated to the north-east, with less sunlight at the end of the day, providing favourable conditions for good growth and balanced ripening.</p> <p></p>
