Clear color and citrine. Complex with intense aromas of fruits and white flowers. Elegant palate with good balance of acidity and peach and melon flavors

Vinification
Hand picking in boxes of 20 kg, sorting on carpet of choice. Cold pressing and decanting for 24 hours. Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature.

<p></p><p>Matilde Reserva Red Wine is produced from the region’s own grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Amarela and fermented by the traditional method of treading the grapes by foot in granite tanks. It aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. The colour is ruby and the aroma is intense and complex to black plum and fig, followed by cedar. In the mouth the wine is voluptuous and with a good acidity. Tannins are well present but very smooth, resulting in a perfect balance and long-lasting after taste.</p>
