<p></p><p>Quinta de Napoles is an elegant and structured wine. This wine represents the quintessence of our old vines at Quinta de Nápoles. Its pale red hue of medium intensity is characteristic of the wines from the 2018 vintage. The nose is at the same time delicate and complex. A base of currants and red berries gives way to floral aromas of violet, hints of Earl Grey tea, spice and a minty note which harmonises in a light and refreshing way with the wine’s wooded nuances. It is mostly found in field blends from old vineyards in the Douro, which is why it is rarely vinified solo. It is undoubtedly a demanding variety in the vineyard, but it produces open-coloured wines that surprise us with their high expressiveness, delicacy and great finesse.</p>
