Quinta do Couquinho

Couquinho, the wine that literary means “a very faraway place”, can be traced back to the Melo Trigo family, in the Upper Douro region of Portugal, for over two centuries.

Many of the family’s estates, including the renowned Quinta do Couquinho, are nestled in the Vilariça Valley, where local stories and legends intertwine with those of the family.
