EncruzadoPortuguese Wine Grape Variety EncruzadoPortugal map with location of regional grape variety EncruzadoDãoIISalgueirinho

Encruzado is a lightly obscure white Portuguese wine grape grown primarily in the Dão DOC region of northern Portugal. It is mainly used as a blending grape.

Though not a productive varietal the wines can be quite fragrant with flavors and aromas of apricots, nectarines and golden raisins. Poor versions can be plagued by low acidity, but most wines have acceptable balance.

It is also known as Salgueirinho.
