Casa Ermelinda freitas is a wine brand recognized by the world for its magnificent wines. From its very beginnings, made the quality of its vineyards and wines a top priority. When the company first started, wines were produced and sold wholesale and unbranded. It was the current management that decided to take on the challenge that is involved in creating an own brand wine. 1997 was the year of the company's new beginning in wine making, with red wine "Terras do Po tinto", being the first to be produced and bottled on the premises of the Ermelinda Freitas winery

The ancestral family connection to agriculture was the catalyst for the present generation embracing this project.
The origin of Eloi Ribeiro´s connection with this project stems from the family history, where his parents and grandparents had always lived on vineyards and olive groves. Today, Tiago and André Ribeiro, his sons, with innovative approaches are the keys of the family in the development of this project.

The story of Dow’s is unusual amongst all the great Port houses. It began in 1798 when Bruno da Silva, a Portuguese merchant from Oporto, made a journey which was the opposite to that of the first British merchants. The Port shipping business was continued by Bruno’s son, John da Silva who in 1862 brought into partnership Frederick William Cosens. With the continuing expansion of the firm, Edward da Silva and Frederick Cosens were joined by George Acheson Warre, whose well known family had been involved in the Port trade since its earliest years. In 1877, Silva & Cosens merged with another leading Port company, Dow & Co.

Although smaller than Silva & Cosens, Dow & Co had become a very highly regarded Port producer with a particularly fine reputation for its Vintage Ports and when the two companies merged, it was decided to adopt DOW’S as the brand name

For over two centuries the name of DOW has been associated with the finest Port from the vineyards of the Upper Douro Valley. Throughout the 20th Century and into the 21st, the Symington family has built on the legacy of the preceding Silva and Dow families.

Dow’s attractive and distinctive drier finish is the recognisable hallmark of the wines from this great Port house.

Rubus wines represent yet another facet of the work of Rui Roboredo Madeira, although with a slightly different concept and market positioning from his more well-known ranges, such as Beyra or Castello d'Alba.

While the Beyra brand focuses exclusively on the extreme identity of the Beira Interior and altitude, the Rubus project often emerges associated with an author's wine philosophy with a very gastronomic profile, elegant and with a strong connection to the Portuguese winemaking tradition, exploring the potential of different terroirs and old vines.

The name Rubus makes a scientific and poetic allusion to the botanical genre of blackberries and wild fruits (Rubus), which are very common and desired aromatic descriptors in high-quality red wines.

It began almost two decades ago, the passion and pleasure that the people of Quinta do Sobreiro do Cima put in the products that lead to themselves. To the regional development of Trás-os-Montes and the site of Santa Valha and Rio Torto, evidencing the history and wine-growing of these lands, this group allied the identity of its roots to a business project of creation and development of agro-alimentary products of high quality.

Casal do Paço has belonged to the family of Vasco Croft since the 17th century. It has the soul of an old Quinta, and was the starting point of the Aphros project. It extends over some 20 hectares of land and forest, six of which are vineyards and four of chestnut orchards

Beyra Siria White WIne presents fruity citrus and minerality, grapefruit, notes of nettles and white flowers, very fresh and light in the mouth, revealing the altitude of the vineyards

Quinta dos Termos is situated in the center of Portugal, on the slopes of the South slope of Serra da Estrela (highest mountain of Portugal - 2,000 m), thus protected from the cold north winds and sunny by its exposure to the South, reaching temperatures in the summer sometimes higher than 50ºC, which leads to a higher degree of maturation, giving rise to complex, aromatic wines of good consistency

Vilar de Torpim Flor is a signature wine crafted by the winemaker Jorge Rosa Santos, who utilizes the Vilar de Torpim brand, located in the municipality of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, as his ultimate space for expression and experimentation in the Beira Interior region. Focused on interpreting the extreme and high-altitude terroir of the region, the winemaker adopts minimalist approaches and ancient or alternative winemaking techniques. With the release of special and disruptive editions, Jorge Rosa Santos shows an enormous capacity to challenge the conventional norms of the industry, enhancing the potential of the region's native grape varieties.

Vinha do Mazouco red is the result of rigorous quality control which allows it to meet the standards expected for a higher average quality wine

Mainada Trincadeira Preta Red Wine shows medium intensity nose, earth and blackpepper notes. verythin attack, fresh and elegant, long ans lasting finish

Crasto Altitude Red Wine displays a bright garnet color and a refined nose with notes of red berries, forest herbs, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and elegant, with silky tannins, good volume, and a long, clean finish.
