Elegant Rubus 2024 Rosé: Fresh Red Fruits & Floral Notes
 • Elegant Rubus 2024 Rosé: Fresh Red Fruits & Floral Notes

Rubus 2024 Rosé Wine

Rubus Rosé Wine presents itself as visually clear and bright, boasting an elegant shade of pink. Its aroma is predominantly that of fresh red fruit, with raspberry and cherry standing out, though it also carries some floral notes that add complexity to its aromatic profile. On the palate, it proves to be firm, demonstrating excellent breadth, texture, and a well-focused aromatic presence. Its acidity crackles, structuring a harmonious and gastronomic wine in a balanced manner. It finishes long and persistent.

Rubus wines represent yet another facet of the work of Rui Roboredo Madeira, although with a slightly different concept and market positioning from his more well-known ranges, such as Beyra or Castello d'Alba.

While the Beyra brand focuses exclusively on the extreme identity of the Beira Interior and altitude, the Rubus project often emerges associated with an author's wine philosophy with a very gastronomic profile, elegant and with a strong connection to the Portuguese winemaking tradition, exploring the potential of different terroirs and old vines.

The name Rubus makes a scientific and poetic allusion to the botanical genre of blackberries and wild fruits (Rubus), which are very common and desired aromatic descriptors in high-quality red wines.

The history of the wines of the Casas do Côro begins with the purchase of old vineyards with more than 80 years in Marialva and evolves with a plantation of 9 hectares of the best varieties of white grapes. With a common origin in the Beira interior, share a passion for the land where they were born, for their traditions, smells and aromas, there continuing to credit and bet heavily on a territory that they consider unique. They are wines with a very fresh and mineral character, with exuberant acidity but above all are wines with soul and proof that with good wines you can make good friends!
